Telematics (C-DOT), an autonomous telecom R&amp;D institution under the Department of Telecommunications (DoT), Government of India, launched the \u2018Samarth\u2019 Program. <\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>About Samarth Incubation Program<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is a cutting edge<\/span><b> Incubation Program<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for <\/span><b>startups<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in <\/span><b>Telecom &amp; ICT Sector.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is an initiative of the Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DOT), an autonomous telecom R&amp;D institution.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This initiative is aimed at nurturing <\/span><b>sustainable and scalable business models<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> by providing startups with <\/span><b>financial grant, advanced resources<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><b>guidance for transition<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> from ideation to commercialization.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the first phase <\/span><b>18 startups<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> have been selected in cohort 1 through a competitive process.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>Features of Samarth Incubation Program\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Each selected startup receives a <\/span><b>grant of up to \u20b95 lakh,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> fully furnished office space for six months at C-DOT campuses in <\/span><b>Delhi and Bengaluru.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It also provides<\/span><b> access to C-DOT\u2019s lab facilities<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and mentorship from C-DOT technologists and external experts.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It offers holistic support to startups and innovators working in telecom applications, cybersecurity, 5G\/6G technologies, artificial intelligence, IoT, and quantum technologies.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The program is <\/span><b>structured in two cohorts of six months<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> each, accommodating up to 18 startups per cohort\u2014thus supporting a maximum of 36 startups under the initiative.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Delivered in a hybrid format, \u201cSamarth\u201d leverages state-of-the-art infrastructure, expert mentorship, and access to a <\/span><b>strong network of investors<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and industry leaders to empower emerging entrepreneurs.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Progressing startups will also be eligible for potential collaboration and further financial grants under the C-DOT Collaborative Research Program (CCRP).<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Implementing Partners:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) and TiE\u00a0 (The Indus Entrepreneurs\u00a0 have been selected as the implementation partner for the program.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Source:
