{"id":3270,"date":"2023-02-12T10:47:47","date_gmt":"2023-02-12T05:17:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/?p=3270"},"modified":"2025-03-26T11:23:02","modified_gmt":"2025-03-26T05:53:02","slug":"what-is-operation-dost","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/what-is-operation-dost\/","title":{"rendered":"What is Operation Dost?"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>About Operation Dost:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>It is an <strong>ongoing search and rescue mission initiated by the Government of India to help Syria and Turkey<\/strong>, after they witnessed a massive earthquake that left thousands dead, injured and trapped under the rubble.<\/li>\n<li>Under operation dost<strong>, India has sent search and rescue teams<\/strong>, mainly <strong>teams of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF)<\/strong>, materials, <strong>medicines<\/strong>,medical equipment and consumables to Turkey and Syria.<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>NDRF teams comprise dog squad, medicines<\/strong>, blankets, four wheelers.<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>Indian Army&#8217;s team of medical specialists<\/strong> is <strong>providing relief<\/strong> to the injured at a <strong>field hospital set up in Turkey&#8217;s Hatay<\/strong>.
