and &#8220;resilience&#8221; of semiconductor supply chains, including by reducing the world&#8217;s reliance on chips made in China.<\/li>\n<li>It is intended to <strong>cooperate on policy implementation<\/strong> that would <strong>support sustainable semiconductor manufacturing<\/strong> in the member states\u2019 home countries.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Goals<\/strong>:<\/li>\n<li>Support industry efforts to <strong>diversify their manufacturing base<\/strong> in semiconductor production.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Protect the Intellectual Property (IP) of companies<\/strong> in member countries.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Develop policies<\/strong> regarding the <strong>export of the most advanced semiconductors<\/strong> and equipment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>What is a Semiconductor?<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Semiconductors<\/strong> are materials that <strong>have a conductivity between conductors<\/strong> (generally metals) <strong>and nonconductors or insulators<\/strong> (such as most ceramics).<\/li>\n<li>They <strong>can be pure elements<\/strong>, such as silicon or germanium, <strong>or compounds<\/strong> like gallium arsenide or cadmium selenide.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Due to their <strong>specific electrical properties<\/strong>, semiconductors <strong>serve as a foundation for computers <\/strong>and other electronic devices.<\/li>\n<li>Semiconductors <strong>are used in many electrical circuits<\/strong> because of the <strong>ability to control the flow of electrons<\/strong> in this material, for example, with a controlling current.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>Q1)\u00a0\u00a0What is an Intellectual Property (IP)?<\/h2>\n<p>Intellectual property (IP) refers to creations of the mind, such as inventions;
