Their hardness and extra strength make them ideal for use as cutters.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><strong>What are the Advantages of LGDs?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>The LGDs production can be carried out using renewables or cleaner energy sources, <strong>making LGDs more eco-friendly than traditional diamond mining.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>LGDs skips the most socially exploitative aspects of diamond manufacturing,<\/strong> which often employs impoverished Africans in terrible conditions.<\/li>\n<li><strong>As the Earth\u2019s reserves of natural diamonds are depleted<\/strong>, LGDs are slowly replacing the prized gemstone in the jewellery industry.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><strong>What are the Upanishads?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>There are broadly two categories of Hindu sacred texts: <strong>shruti <\/strong>(\u201cthe revealed\u201d) and <strong>smriti <\/strong>(\u201cthe remembered\u201d).\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The first category<\/strong> is considered to be the most authoritative and consists of the <strong>4 Vedas<\/strong> (Rig, Yajur, Sama and Atharva) and accompanying texts [Brahmanas, Aranyakas and Upanishads].<\/li>\n<li><strong>The second category<\/strong> is less authoritative and is considered to be <strong>derived <\/strong>from the first but more popularly known [epics of <strong>Ramayana and Mahabharata, Dharmashastras, Puranas<\/strong>, etc].<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>The Upanishads\/Vedanta<\/strong> (800-500 BC) &#8211; as they signal the end of the total Veda &#8211; are the philosophical texts that discuss concepts such as <strong>transmigration<\/strong>, which have today become central to Hindu tradition.<\/li>\n<li>Much of the Upanishads are concerned with the relationship between the <strong>atman, or the distinct, unchanging self of an individual, and the brahman<\/strong>, the ultimate reality in the universe.<\/li>\n<li><strong>As per the Chandogya Upanishad<\/strong>, those whose conduct here has been good will quickly attain a good birth &#8211; the birth of a brahman\/kshatriya\/vaishya.<\/li>\n<li>The Upanishads were given particular importance in Hindu theology by 8th century Hindu scholar<strong> Adi Shankara,<\/strong> whose interpretations synthesised the <strong>Advaita Vedanta tradition<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><strong>10 Main or Principal Upanishads:<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Esha<\/li>\n<li>Kena<\/li>\n<li>Katha<\/li>\n<li>Prashna<\/li>\n<li>Mundaka<\/li>\n<li>Mandukya<\/li>\n<li>Taittiriya<\/li>\n<li>Aitareya<\/li>\n<li>Chandogya<\/li>\n<li>Brihadaranyaka<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<figure class=\"media\">\n<div data-oembed-url=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=HQJR-RxLXmg\">\n<div><iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/HQJR-RxLXmg\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><strong>The Ten Principal Upanishads:<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>It is a <strong>version of the Upanishads translated by Irish poet W. B. Yeats<\/strong> and the Indian-born mendicant-teacher Shri Purohit Swami.<\/li>\n<li>The translation process occurred between the two authors throughout the 1930s and the book was published in 1937.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><strong>Q1) What do you mean by vedanta?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The term Vedanta means in Sanskrit the \u201cconclusion\u201d (anta) of the Vedas, the earliest sacred literature of India.
