This can <strong>happen when a star is dying<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Because <strong>no light can get out<\/strong>, it is <strong>difficult to detect <\/strong>a black hole.<\/li>\n<li>The largest black holes are called &#8220;<strong>supermassive.<\/strong>&#8221; These <strong>black holes have masses<\/strong> that are <strong>more than 1 million suns<\/strong> together.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Albert Einstein first predicted<\/strong> the existence of <strong>black holes in 1916<\/strong>, with his general theory of relativity.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>What is the \u2018event horizon\u2019 of a Black hole?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>It is the <strong>boundary<\/strong> defining <strong>the region of space around<\/strong> a <strong>black hole from which nothing <\/strong>(not even light)<strong> can escape.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>The <strong>escape velocity<\/strong> for an object<strong> within the event horizon exceeds the speed of light.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>The radius of the event horizon<\/strong> is <strong>called the Schwarzschild radius<\/strong>, after the German astronomer Karl Schwarzschild.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><strong>Q1<\/strong>: What are Radio waves?<\/h3>\n<p>Radio waves are a type of electromagnetic radiation with wavelengths ranging from about one millimeter to over 100 kilometers.
