The name translates to &#8220;First Book&#8221; in Punjabi. The Adi Granth is a collection of around 6,000 hymns from Sikh Gurus and other saints from different religions and castes.<\/p>\n<h3>Q2)\u00a0What is Khalsa?\u00a0<\/h3>\n<p>Khalsa is a Punjabi word that means &#8220;the pure&#8221;. It refers to both a community of Sikhs and a special group of initiated Sikhs.
