{"id":4206,"date":"2023-03-12T10:02:22","date_gmt":"2023-03-12T04:32:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/?p=4206"},"modified":"2025-03-26T22:30:13","modified_gmt":"2025-03-26T17:00:13","slug":"msme-competitive-lean-scheme","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/msme-competitive-lean-scheme\/","title":{"rendered":"MSME Competitive (LEAN) Scheme"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><strong>About MSME (LEAN) Scheme:<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>The scheme attempt to improve quality, productivity &amp; performance, and capability to change the mindsets of MSME manufacturers and transform them into world-class manufacturers.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Objective:<\/strong> Through the LEAN journey, MSMEs can reduce wastages substantially, increase productivity, improve quality, work safely, expand their markets, and finally become competitive and profitable.<\/li>\n<li>Under the scheme, MSMEs will implement LEAN <strong>manufacturing tools like 5S, Kaizen, KANBAN, Visual workplace, Poka Yoka<\/strong> etc under the able guidance of trained and competent LEAN Consultants to attain LEAN levels like Basic, Intermediate and Advanced.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Government Support<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>The government will <strong>contribute 90% of the implementation cost<\/strong> for handholding and consultancy fees.<\/li>\n<li>There will be an additional contribution of <strong>5% for the MSMEs<\/strong> which are part of SFURTI clusters, owned by Women\/SC\/ST and located in the Northeast region.<\/li>\n<li>There will be an <strong>additional contribution of 5% for MSMEs<\/strong> which are registered through Industry Associations\/ Overall Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) organizations after completing all levels.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><strong>Q1) What is Kanban?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Kanban is a popular Lean workflow management method for defining, managing, and improving services that deliver knowledge work.
