L. Simonsen and Professor P.S. MacMahon.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><strong>Q1) Who established the Asiatic Society of Bengal?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>This society was founded on Jan. 15, 1784, by Sir William Jones, a British Orientalist, to encourage Oriental studies.
