{"id":4589,"date":"2023-03-14T11:22:22","date_gmt":"2023-03-14T05:52:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/?p=4589"},"modified":"2025-03-27T01:15:31","modified_gmt":"2025-03-26T19:45:31","slug":"what-is-one-week-one-lab-campaign","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/what-is-one-week-one-lab-campaign\/","title":{"rendered":"What is One Week One Lab Campaign?"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><strong>About One Week One Lab Campaign<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>The One Week One lab campaign of the Council of Scientific &amp; Industrial Research (CSIR), will highlight India&#8217;s global excellence in <strong>technology, innovation and Start-ups.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>In this campaign, each of CSIR\u2019s 37 constituent laboratories, spread Nationwide, will showcase their legacy, exclusive innovations and technological breakthroughs every successive week.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>During the campaign each CSIR lab shall be organizing week-long events including industry &amp; start-up meet, students connect, society connect, display of technologies, etc.<\/li>\n<li>The campaign will also focus on <strong>academia and skill development<\/strong>, where interested students from varying domains get to know about the research activities and facilities of the CSIR laboratories and get a connection with prospects.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Industries &amp; MSMEs Meets are targeted to establish an understanding between Science and Industry based on the requirement of the society or regional needs and to identify potential industries for co-development of Next Gen technologies and products.<\/li>\n<li>It will be an opportunity to create networks of Govt- Academia-Industry for faster deliveries and deployments of technologies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><strong>What is CSIR?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>It is the largest research and development (R&amp;D) organisation in India which was set up in 1942.<\/li>\n<li>It is funded by the <strong>Ministry of Science and Technology<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong>What is the Structure of the Organisation?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>The Prime Minister of India (Ex-officio) is the President of this organisation.<\/li>\n<li>Vice President: Union Minister of Science and Technology (Ex-officio)<\/li>\n<li>Governing Body: The Director-General is the head of the governing body.<\/li>\n<li>The other ex-officio member is the finance secretary (expenditures).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><strong>Q1) Who established Traditional Knowledge Digital Library?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Traditional Knowledge Digital Library was established by CSIR.
