font-size: 35px; font-style: inherit;\">About Indo-Pacific Logistics Network<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Quad Indo-Pacific Logistics Network pilot project was launched during the fourth Quad Leaders\u2019 Summit in September 2024.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>IPLN is an initiative that<strong>\u00a0enables Quad partners to leverage shared logistics capabilities<\/strong>\u00a0in the Indo-Pacific t<strong>o support civilian response to natural disasters\u00a0<\/strong>more rapidly and efficiently across the region.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>This effort will complement existing efforts with Indo-Pacific partners.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Together with\u00a0<\/strong>the I<strong>ndo-Pacific Partnership for Maritime Domain Awareness<\/strong>, the\u00a0<strong>IPLN reflects the Quad\u2019s commitment to ensuring a free and open Indo-Pacific\u00a0<\/strong>and highlights the value of strengthening practical cooperation to address regional challenges.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>What is Quad?<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>The Quad, officially the<strong>\u00a0Quadrilateral Security Dialogue,<\/strong>\u00a0is a group of f<strong>our countries: the United States, Australia, India, and Japan.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Genesis<\/strong>:\u00a0\n<ul>\n<li>Quad\u00a0<strong>came together during the 2004 tsunami<\/strong>\u00a0in the Indian Ocean region to coordinate response and assistance to countries in the region.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>The\u00a0<strong>first meeting<\/strong>\u00a0of Quad officials took place on the\u00a0<strong>sidelines of the ASEAN\u00a0<\/strong>Regional Forum summit in the Philippines<strong>\u00a0in May 2007.\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>After a gap of 10 years, Quad officials met in Manila in November 2017 on the margins of the East Asia Summit for consultations on connectivity issues;
