visitors to the Churdhar Wildlife Sanctuary in Sirmaur district.<\/p>\n<h2>About Churdhar Wildlife Sanctuary<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>It is located in the Sirmour district of\u00a0<strong>Himachal Pradesh.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>It is situated in the<strong>\u00a0Shivalik range\u00a0<\/strong>of the Himalayas.<\/li>\n<li>Established in 1985, this sanctuary spans 56 sq.km. and\u00a0<strong>encircles\u00a0<\/strong>the majestic\u00a0<strong>Churdhar Peak,<\/strong>\u00a0also known as\u00a0<strong>Choordhar<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Churdhar peak is the\u00a0<strong>highest peak in the outer Himalayas.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>From the top<\/strong>\u00a0of the peak, visitors can relish the<strong>\u00a0view of wild Gangetic plains<\/strong>\u00a0and the\u00a0<strong>Satluj River<\/strong>\u00a0on its south and\u00a0<strong>Badrinath\u00a0<\/strong>(a well-known Hindu pilgrimage) towards its Cherry, Aloe Vera\u00a0<\/strong>(<strong>Dhrit Kumari),<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Amaranthus spinosus\u00a0<\/strong>(<strong>Chulai<\/strong>) are some of the best\u00a0<strong>aromatic plants<\/strong>\u00a0which can be found here, and these herbs possess amazing medicinal properties.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>The\u00a0<strong>main trees<\/strong>\u00a0in the sanctuary\u00a0<strong>are oak
