400;\">IATA was created to p<\/span><b>romote cooperation among airlines <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and <\/span><b>ensure <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">the <\/span><b>safe, secure, and efficient transportation <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">of people and goods across international borders.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Its mission is to represent, lead, and serve the global airline industry by <\/span><b>advocating for fair regulations, enhancing operational efficiency,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and improving passenger and cargo services worldwide.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In practice, its activity focuses on <\/span><b>three main areas:<\/b>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Standardization of processes and documentation<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> used in international air transport.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Development of technical regulations<\/b> <b>for the transport of goods<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, especially in sensitive areas such as dangerous goods or perishable products.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Financial cooperation and settlement systems<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> are the following:<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>IATA establishes standards for its member airlines<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, whereas
