the Dynamic Route Planning for Urban Green Mobility (or DRUM) web app.<\/p>\n<h2>About DRUM Web App<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>It\u2019s like Google Maps but with the added feature of allowing\u00a0<strong>users pick routes based on air quality and energy efficiency.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>It gives users\u00a0<strong>five route options<\/strong>: shortest, fastest, least exposure to air pollution (LEAP), least energy consumption route (LECR), and a combination of all four factors called the\u00a0<strong>suggested route.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>It was designed\u00a0<strong>to fetch live pollution and traffic<\/strong>\u00a0data the moment a user entered a route instead of pulling data at intervals.<\/li>\n<li>It\u00a0<strong>determines routes using GraphHopper<\/strong>, a Java-based routing library that generates multiple options, while fetching real-time traffic updates from Mapbox.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>The team relied on data from the\u00a0<strong>CPCB and the World Air Quality Index.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>They implemented a\u00a0<strong>segment-wise interpolation strategy<\/strong>\u00a0to estimate pollution levels in areas without direct sensor coverage, divided routes into segments, and used nearby sensor data to estimate pollution where coverage was missing.<\/li>\n<li>To test the system, the team simulated\u00a0<strong>Delhi\u2019s East, South, North, and Central corridors<\/strong>, accounting for different traffic, road quality, and pollution patterns.<\/li>\n<li>The results showed that\u00a0<strong>shorter or faster routes often passed through
