Devadhar, A.V. Patwardhan, and N.A. Dravid, in Pune, Maharashtra, <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">on June 12, <\/span><b>1905.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to Gokhale, the society&#8217;s objectives were to <\/span><b>train individuals <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">who were willing to devote their lives <\/span><b>to the country&#8217;s cause in a religious spirit, for political education and agitation <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and to<\/span><b> promote the national interest <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">of the Indian people t<\/span><b>hrough constitutional means.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The members of the society were considered as young missionaries of Indian nationalism.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Several young Indian nationalists, including <\/span><b>V.S. Sreenivasa Sasthri, Hriday Nath Kunzru, and A.V.
