Index (ETI) 2026.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>About Energy Transition Index<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is <\/span><b>released by the World Economic Forum.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It evaluates countries on <\/span><b>energy security, sustainability and equity<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, along with the readiness of their policy, financial and infrastructure environments to support the transition.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A country\u2019s final ETI score is a weighted composite of <\/span><b>two sub-indices: system performance (60%) and transition readiness (40%).<\/b>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><b>System performance<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is evenly distributed across equity, security and sustainability dimensions, while transition readiness is divided into two categories<\/span><b>: core enablers and enabling factors.<\/b>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"3\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Core enablers include regulation and political commitment as well as finance and investment, while enabling factors encompass innovation, infrastructure and education and human capital.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ETI <\/span><b>scores use a 0-100 scale,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> with 100 representing the highest global performance for each indicator and index component.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Key Findings of Energy Transition Index<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Sweden, Finland and Denmark<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> retained their top three positions globally<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Singapore posted one of the largest improvements, climbing <\/span><b>10 places to 42nd<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> due to stronger regulations and political commitment.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Six G20 members featured in the top
