Kashmir<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (elevation ~3,888\u202fm), where a naturally formed ice Shivling \u2013 believed to symbolize Lord Shiva \u2013 emerges.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Operation Shiva is being carried out in <\/span><b>close coordination with the civil administration and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs).<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This annual high-tempo operation <\/span><b>aims to provide robust security architecture<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> along both the <\/span><b>Northern and Southern Yatra routes,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> particularly in light of the heightened threat from Pakistan-backed proxies in the aftermath of Operation Sindoor.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Over <\/span><b>8,500 troops <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">have been deployed, supported by a wide array of technological and operational resources.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The operation involves &#8220;a <\/span><b>dynamic counter-terrorism grid,<\/b> <b>prophylactic security deployment<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and <\/span><b>corridor protection measures.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Comprehensive assistance to civil authorities is also being provided, particularly in disaster management and emergency response.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A <\/span><b>Counter-Unmanned Aerial System (C-UAS) grid<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> with more than 50 C-UAS and <\/span><b>Electronic Warfare (EW) systems<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> each to <\/span><b>neutralise drone threats <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">has been set up.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Signal companies for seamless communication, EME (Electronics and Mechanical Engineers) detachments for technical support, and Bomb Detection &amp;
