It <\/span><b>keeps to undergrowth<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and can be seen along forest paths and in clearings.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Conservation Status:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> This species is <\/span><b>not legally protected in India<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> under any schedules of the WildLife (Protection) Act, 1972.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><b>Monkey Puzzle Butterfly <\/b><b>Features<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Sexes alike.\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Wingspan: 26 to 28 mm.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Upperside<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: The butterfly is <\/span><b>dark brown<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. It has a<\/span><b> white-spot end cell.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Underside<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: The butterfly is <\/span><b>white to dark yellowish brown<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. The forewing has irregular dark basal markings with a curved white discal line. The apical two-fifths are a rich dark brown colour.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The hindwing has a silvery margin with many irregular black lines and spots within.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It has <\/span><b>three tails<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, being 2 mm, 6 mm, and 2.5 mm in length.
