{"id":57088,"date":"2025-07-28T15:11:06","date_gmt":"2025-07-28T09:41:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/?p=57088"},"modified":"2025-07-29T11:11:30","modified_gmt":"2025-07-29T05:41:30","slug":"veer-parivar-sahayata-yojana","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/veer-parivar-sahayata-yojana\/","title":{"rendered":"Veer Parivar Sahayata Yojana"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><b>Veer Parivar Sahayata Yojana Latest News<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The National Legal Services Authority (NALSA) recently launched \u2018Veer Parivar Sahayata Yojana\u2019, a scheme to strengthen legal aid for defence personnel and their families.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>About Veer Parivar Sahayata Yojana<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is a <\/span><b>joint initiative<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> of the <\/span><b><a href=\"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/nalsa\/\" target=\"_blank\">National Legal Services Authority (NALSA)<\/a>, the Kendriya Sainik Board (KSB), Rajya Sainik Boards<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (RSBs), and<\/span><b> Zilla Sainik Boards<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (ZSBs), <\/span><b>under the Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare, Ministry of Defence.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Objective<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: Providing <\/span><b>free<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and competent <\/span><b>legal services to defence personnel, ex-servicemen, and their families.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It will be implemented through a <\/span><b>nationwide network of Legal Services Clinics <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">established across Rajya and Zila Sainik Boards in all states and union territories.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">These clinics will <\/span><b>operate in close collaboration<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> with the <\/span><b>Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare, <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ministry of Defence, and <\/span><b>respective Directorates of Sainik Welfare.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The scheme is especially <\/span><b>relevant for personnel posted in remote locations<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> who often find it difficult to appear in court or follow up on legal matters involving family property, land disputes, or domestic issues.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Through this initiative, <\/span><b>NALSA will facilitate proper legal representation <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">in such cases across the country.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Panel lawyers and paralegal volunteers of the legal services authority<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> will provide free legal aid to soldiers. <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\">The <b style=\"font-size: inherit;\">support <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">will <\/span><b style=\"font-size: inherit;\">also extend to paramilitary personnel,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> including those from the Border Security Force <\/span><b style=\"font-size: inherit;\">(BSF),<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Central Reserve Police Force <\/span><b style=\"font-size: inherit;\">(CRPF), <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Indo-Tibetan Border Police <\/span><b style=\"font-size: inherit;\">(ITBP)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and <\/span><b style=\"font-size: inherit;\">others who serve in similarly isolated<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and high-risk <\/span><b style=\"font-size: inherit;\">conditions<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Source<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/indianexpress.com\/article\/india\/nalsa-launches-scheme-to-strengthen-legal-aid-to-defence-personnel-families-10152143\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">IE<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Veer Parivar Sahayata Yojana aims to provide free and competent legal services to defence personnel, ex-servicemen, and their families.
