text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Global Tiger Day, commonly referred to as International Tiger Day, was <\/span><b>established during the Saint Petersburg Tiger Summit in Russia in 2010.\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The summit brought together 1<\/span><b>3 tiger-range countries, including India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, Malaysia, and Russia,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> following alarming reports that only around 3,000 tigers remained in the wild.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>More than 3,600 tigers<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> now roam the country\u2019s forests, <\/span><b>double the number<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> recorded just over <\/span><b>a decade ago.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">These tigers live across 138,200 sq.km. of forest, roughly half the size of the UK, often sharing the land with 60 million people. <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;
