The 3rd Schedule of Indian Constitution includes the official oaths or affirmations taken by individuals assuming key constitutional positions in India. It\u2019s linked to the following Articles: 75(4), 99, 124(6), 148(2), 164(3), 188, and 219. It applies to posts including Union and State Ministers, Members of Parliament and State Legislatures, Judges of the Supreme Court and High Courts and The Comptroller and Auditor-General of India (CAG).<\/span><\/p>\n

Each oath contains specific phrases like \u201cfaithfully discharge the duties,\u201d \u201cbear true faith and allegiance to the Constitution,\u201d and \u201cuphold the sovereignty and integrity of India.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
