{"id":58352,"date":"2025-08-06T12:46:39","date_gmt":"2025-08-06T07:16:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/?p=58352"},"modified":"2025-08-06T13:16:48","modified_gmt":"2025-08-06T07:46:48","slug":"india-cine-hub-portal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/india-cine-hub-portal\/","title":{"rendered":"India Cine Hub Portal"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><b>India Cine Hub Portal Latest News<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Recently, the central government urged states to use India Cine Hub Portal to facilitate Global film Production locally.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>About India Cine Hub Portal<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It was <\/span><b>launched on June 28, 2024.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is a <\/span><b>single-window system streamlining filmmaking permissions<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, incentives, and resource mapping across India.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It was set up by the <\/span><b>Ministry of Information &amp; Broadcasting,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Government of India in the <\/span><b>National Film Development Corporation<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (NFDC) with a view to promote and facilitate film shootings by foreign filmmakers in India.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It acts as a single-window f<\/span><b>acilitation and clearance mechanism that eases filming in India<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, as well as endeavouring to create a film-friendly ecosystem and promoting the country as a filming destination.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><b>Features of India Cine Hub Portal<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It features <\/span><b>GIS-based location mapping<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and a common application form, the portal enhances ease of doing business and promotes India as a global filming destination.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Seven states and two Union Territories have fully integrated<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> with the platform, while 21 states and six Union Territories have been on boarded.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The services rendered by the India Cine Hub (ICH) have now been extended to Indian filmmakers as well.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Source: <\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pib.gov.in\/PressReleasePage.aspx?PRID=2152689\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><b>PIB<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>India Cine Hub Portal is a single-window system streamlining filmmaking permissions, incentives, and resource mapping across India.
