For LPG (PAHAL) scheme, launched by the <\/span><b>Ministry Of Petroleum and Natural Gas<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, is India\u2019s Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system for LPG subsidies.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Instead of subsidized cylinders being delivered directly, the <\/span><b>consumer pays the full market price for LPG<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and the <\/span><b>government transfers the subsidy<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> amount <\/span><b>to the registered bank account.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It covers over <\/span><b>17 crore LPG consumers <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">nationwide, making it the <\/span><b>largest cash transfer program globally.<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><b>PAHAL Scheme <\/b><b>Objectives<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ensures transparency and <\/span><b>eliminates intermediaries.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Removing incentives for diversion.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The applicant must be an <\/span><b>LPG user.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <\/span><b>combined taxable income of the applicant and their spouse should not exceed \u20b910,00,000<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in the previous financial year, as per the Income Tax Act, 1961.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><b>PAHAL Scheme <\/b><b>Working<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The<\/span><b> consumer books a gas cylinder <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">at the market price.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Once delivered,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> the<\/span><b> government credits the subsidy amount directly <\/b><span (Non-Aadhaar-Based): Bank account is linked<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> directly<\/span><b> with the LPG consumer number<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> if Aadhaar linking is not
