{"id":5888,"date":"2022-12-21T11:16:28","date_gmt":"2022-12-21T05:46:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/?p=5888"},"modified":"2025-03-27T11:30:39","modified_gmt":"2025-03-27T06:00:39","slug":"ayurswasthya-yojana","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/ayurswasthya-yojana\/","title":{"rendered":"AYURSWASTHYA Yojana"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><strong>What is AYURSWASTHYA Yojana?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>It is a <strong>Central Sector Scheme.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>It is having <strong>two components<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>AYUSH and Public Health (PHI)<\/strong> and<\/li>\n<li><strong>Centre of Excellence (CoE)<\/strong> from the Financial Year 2021-22 by merging two erstwhile schemes of this Ministry namely\n<ul>\n<li>Central Sector Scheme of Grant-in-Aid for Promotion of AYUSH Intervention in Public Health Initiatives (PHI) and<\/li>\n<li>Central Sector Scheme for assistance to AYUSH organizations (Government \/ Non-Government Non-Profit) engaged in AYUSH Education\/ Drug Development &amp; Research \/ Clinical Research etc. for upgradation to Centre of Excellence (CoE).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Under the Centre of Excellence component of AYURSWASTHYA Yojana, financial assistance is provided to eligible individual organizations\/institutes for establishing and upgrading their functions &amp; facilities and\/or for research &amp; development activities in AYUSH.<\/li>\n<li>The objectives of the Centre of Excellence component of AYURSWASTHYA Yojana are:\n<ul>\n<li>To support <strong>establishment of advanced\/ specialized AYUSH medical health unit<\/strong> in reputed AYUSH and Allopathic institutions both in Government and Non-Government sector.<\/li>\n<li>To support creative and innovative proposals for <strong>establishment and upgradation <\/strong>of both functions and facilities of reputed institutions to strengthen competencies of AYUSH professionals in education technology, research &amp; innovation and such other fields necessary for promotion of AYUSH at national as well as international level.<\/li>\n<li>To support <strong>creative and innovative proposals for prestigious organizations<\/strong> which have well-established buildings and infrastructure, and wish to work for AYUSH systems to the level of Centre of Excellence.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>The maximum admissible financial assistance under the Centre of Excellence component of AYURSWASTHYA Yojana, to an organization\/institute is <strong>10.00 crores for maximum period of three years.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>Q1) When was the AYUSH mission launched?<\/h3>\n<p>The National AYUSH Mission (NAM) was launched as a Centrally Sponsored Scheme on 29 September 2014 by the Department of AYUSH, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India during the 12th five year Plan<\/p>\n<p><strong>Source:\u00a0<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/pib.gov.in\/PressReleseDetail.aspx?PRID=1885170\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Status of centres of excellence scheme \u2018AYURSWASTHYA Yojana<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>AYURSWASTHYA Yojana is a central scheme with Ayush &#038;
