Indira Gandhi was heading the Indian Congress when these changes were implemented. In this article, we are going to cover the 42nd Constitutional Amendment Act 1976 and its importance and major changes that were implemented.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong>42nd Constitutional Amendment Act 1976<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The 42nd Constitutional Amendment Act 1976 introduced some major changes in the <a href=\"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/upsc-exam\/indian-constitution\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Constitution of India<\/strong><\/a>.
