{"id":59619,"date":"2025-08-16T12:41:50","date_gmt":"2025-08-16T07:11:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/?p=59619"},"modified":"2025-08-16T15:02:33","modified_gmt":"2025-08-16T09:32:33","slug":"e-sushrutclinic","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/e-sushrutclinic\/","title":{"rendered":"e-Sushrut@Clinic"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><b>e-Sushrut@Clinic Latest News<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Recently, the National Health Authority (NHA) and the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to roll out e-Sushrut@Clinic.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>About e-Sushrut@Clinic<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It provides a <\/span><b>lightweight, cloud-based Hospital Management Information System<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (HMIS) designed specifically for outpatient clinics.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This government-backed <\/span><b>Health Management Information System<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (HMIS) is designed specifically for <\/span><b>small and medium healthcare providers.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It marks a pivotal step in expanding the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/what-is-ayushman-bharat-digital-mission\/\" target=\"_blank\"><b>Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (ABDM) ecosystem.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The application developed by C-DAC is a lighter version of their flagship <\/span><b>e-Sushrut HMIS software.<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><b>Features of eSushrut@Clinic<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is tailored for <\/span><b>outpatient management, pharmacy, and nursing modules<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and delivers essential functionalities at a low per-user cost.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Any healthcare provider can onboard it from his\/her laptop\/mobile on a webpage through their <\/span><b>Health Facility Registry<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (HFR) and <\/span><b>Health Professionals Registry<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (HPR).<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If the healthcare provider is not registered on HFR\/HPR, they would be able to register on eSushrut@Clinic itself.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This will make it much easier for <\/span><b>doctors in both public and private clinics<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to access and update patient health records, offer telemedicine services, and streamline diagnostics and prescriptions.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The platform enables small clinics, sub-centres, and medium-sized hospitals to digitize patient records, prescriptions, and billing with minimal technical overhead.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Several utilities and <\/span><b>features of ABDM will be available in eSushrut@Clinic.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For instance, the healthcare providers would use the AIIMS Clinical Decision Support Systems (CDSS) service for hypertension and diabetes, which is being provided free for all ABDM-integrated software.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This CDSS helps improve patient care by supporting doctors in making better diagnoses and treatment.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Source: <\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pib.gov.in\/PressReleseDetailm.aspx?PRID=2156603\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">PIB<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>e-Sushrut@Clinic provides a lightweight, cloud-based Hospital Management Information System (HMIS) designed specifically for outpatient clinics.
