


{"id":60769,"date":"2025-08-26T12:14:37","date_gmt":"2025-08-26T06:44:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/?p=60769"},"modified":"2025-08-26T12:58:24","modified_gmt":"2025-08-26T07:28:24","slug":"national-youth-award","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/national-youth-award\/","title":{"rendered":"National Youth Award"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><b>National Youth Award Latest News<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Ministry of Youth Affairs &amp; Sports, Government of India, invited nominations for the National Youth Award (NYA) 2024.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>About National Youth Award<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is sponsored by <\/span><b>the Ministry of Youth Affairs.<\/b><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is for the <\/span><b>Indian youth<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for their tremendous and outstanding <\/span><b>work in social service.<\/b><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This award is to motivate young persons to achieve excellence in the field of national development or social service<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It aims to motivate <\/span><b>young persons<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (<\/span><b>aged between 15 \u2013 29 years)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to achieve excellence in the field of national development or social service;<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To encourage young people to <\/span><b>develop a sense of responsibility<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to the community and thus to improve their own personal potential as good citizens; and<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To give <\/span><b>recognition to the outstanding<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> work done by <\/span><b>voluntary organizations<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> working with the youth for national development and\/or social service.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The National Youth Awards are conferred usually during the National Youth Festival.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The award is <\/span><b>given in two categories:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Individual Category and Organisation Category<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The number of awards given each year would <\/span><b>ordinarily not exceed 20 for individual<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> category and <\/span><b>five for organization category<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.
