{"id":61024,"date":"2025-08-28T12:19:59","date_gmt":"2025-08-28T06:49:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/?p=61024"},"modified":"2025-08-28T13:28:06","modified_gmt":"2025-08-28T07:58:06","slug":"project-aarohan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/project-aarohan\/","title":{"rendered":"Project Aarohan"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><b>Project Aarohan Latest News<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Recently, the National Highway Authority of India launched Project Aarohan.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>About Project Aarohan<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It has an objective to support the educational aspirations of the <\/span><b>children of toll plaza employees.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>It was launched by the <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/national-highways-authority-of-india-nhai\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>National Highway Authority of India<\/strong><\/a>.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The nationwide project will reach a community of toll\u2011plaza personnel that are deployed at a vast network of toll plazas on National Highways.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The initiative aims to <\/span><b>address financial barriers,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> bridge socio-economic divides and provide equal access to quality education for students from economically weaker sections, including girls from low-income households, first-generation learners and those from Economically Weaker Sections\/Scheduled Castes\/Scheduled Tribes\/Other Backward Classes and minority communities.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The program combines financial aid with <\/span><b>structured mentorship, skill-building workshops<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and career guidance to holistically prepare students for higher education, employment and entrepreneurship.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It will be implemented by <\/span><b>SMEC Trust\u2019s Bharat Cares<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">,<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><b>Funding for Project Aarohan<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The first phase of \u2018Project Aarohan\u2019 will have a fund allocation of Rs. 1 Crore and will <\/span><b>span from July 2025 to March 2026.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The project aims to <\/span><b>cover 500 students from Class 11 to the final year graduation<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, each receiving an annual scholarship of Rs.12,000 during FY 2025\u201326.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Additionally, 50 bright students aspiring for postgraduate and higher studies will be supported with <\/span><b>scholarships of Rs. 50,000 each.<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Source: <\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pib.gov.in\/PressReleasePage.aspx?PRID=2160931\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><b>PIB<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Project Aarohan has an objective to support the educational aspirations of the children of toll plaza employees.
