{"id":61166,"date":"2025-08-29T14:16:46","date_gmt":"2025-08-29T08:46:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/?p=61166"},"modified":"2025-08-30T10:36:08","modified_gmt":"2025-08-30T05:06:08","slug":"unified-district-information-system-for-education-plus","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/unified-district-information-system-for-education-plus\/","title":{"rendered":"Unified District Information System for Education Plus"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><b>Unified District Information System for Education Plus Latest News<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Ministry of Education released a report on Unified District Information System for Education Plus (UDISE+) 2024-25 on school education of India which says that, since the beginning of UDISE +, the total number of teachers has crossed the 1 crore mark in 2024\u201325.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>About Unified District Information System for Education Plus<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is an <\/span><b>educational management information system<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> under the Department of School Education &amp; Literacy, Ministry of Education under the Government of India.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">UDISE+ functions as a <\/span><b>central platform <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">that enables respective schools to efficiently record and submit data related to its profile (infrastructure &amp; facilities), individual students and teachers\u2019 details.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This is done in <\/span><b>real-time mode by all recognised schools<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> that provide formal, and special education in any of the school categories (that is, from pre-primary to higher secondary levels) throughout the country each academic year.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The recorded data is validated by the MIS and other designated officials at the block, district and state levels; and monitored at four levels, including the national.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><b>Features of the UDISE+<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Each onboarded school is <\/span><b>provided a unique 11-digit UDISE code<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> &amp; login credentials to complete data entry and its modification in real-time.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">School User Directory module enables onboarding of schools, and management of designated users who can submit data on the UDISE+.
