aria-level=\"1\"><b>The bioeconomy<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is an economic system that utilizes renewable biological resources from plants, animals, and microorganisms\u2014along with organic waste\u2014to create food, feed, energy, and bio-based products.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As in December 2023, Bioeconomy contributes <\/span><b>4.25%<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to India\u2019s Gross Domestic Product (GDP).<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Indian Bioeconomy has grown from <\/span><b>$10 billion in 2014 to $151 billion in 2023<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, achieving this target two years ahead of style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Launched on August 27, 2024, it is a Union S&amp;T Ministry\u2019s policy that sets forth a framework to <\/span><b>ensure the adoption of cutting-edge advanced technologies<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for <\/span><b>promoting Biomanufacturing<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The policy outlines guidelines and principles for enabling mechanisms for \u2018<\/span><b>Fostering High Performance Biomanufacturing<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2019 in the country across diverse sectors.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is aligned with India\u2019s vision of <\/span><b>Green Growth<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and also with the Lifestyle for Environment (<\/span><b>LiFE<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">) initiative that envisions collective approach towards sustainability.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 style=\"text-align:
