{"id":6331,"date":"2025-09-18T12:52:57","date_gmt":"2025-09-18T07:22:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/?p=6331"},"modified":"2025-09-18T16:15:34","modified_gmt":"2025-09-18T10:45:34","slug":"pm-mitra-parks","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/pm-mitra-parks\/","title":{"rendered":"PM MITRA Parks"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><b>PM MITRA Park Latest News<\/b><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Prime Minister recently laid the foundation stone of the country&#8217;s first Pradhan Mantri Mega Integrated Textile Region and Apparel (PM MITRA) Park in Madhya Pradesh&#8217;s Dhar District.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>About PM MITRA Park<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Pradhan Mantri Mega Integrated Textile Region and Apparel (PM MITRA<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">) is a <\/span><b>mega textile hub<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> that <\/span><b>brings every step of textile production<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, like spinning, weaving, dyeing, printing, and garment-making, into one single place.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Each park<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> covers a <\/span><b>large area (about 1,000 acres or more)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and acts as a complete ecosystem for textile manufacture.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">MITRA parks can be<\/span><b> either Greenfield or Brownfield.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The scheme is inspired by the vision \u201cFarm to Fibre to Factory to Fashion to Foreign\u201d and aims to make Indian textiles cheaper, faster to market, and of higher quality.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Nodal Ministry: Ministry of Textiles<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><b>PM MITRA Park <\/b><b>Features<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Integrated Value Chain:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Each park brings spinning, garmenting, dyeing, and processing into a single zone, cutting transport time and costs.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>World-Class Infrastructure:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The parks have<\/span><b> modern roads, reliable power<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><b>water, worker hostels, <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">logistics, and plug-and-play factory units, with space for research, skill training, and commercial activity.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">PM MITRA will develop <\/span><b>50% area for pure Manufacturing Activity,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> 2<\/span><b>0% area for utilities,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and<\/span><b> 10% of area for commercial development.\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Jobs and Investment<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: Each park is expected to create 1 lakh direct and 2 lakh indirect jobs.
