{"id":6331,"date":"2026-05-11T12:52:57","date_gmt":"2026-05-11T07:22:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/?p=6331"},"modified":"2026-05-11T13:37:27","modified_gmt":"2026-05-11T08:07:27","slug":"pm-mitra-parks","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/pm-mitra-parks\/","title":{"rendered":"PM MITRA Park"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><b>PM MITRA Park Latest News<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Recently, the Prime Minister of India inaugurated the PM MITRA Park at Warangal, Telangana.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>About PM MITRA Park<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Pradhan Mantri Mega Integrated Textile Region and Apparel<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (PM MITRA) is a mega textile hub that brings every step of textile production, like spinning, weaving, dyeing, printing, and garment-making, into one single place.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">MITRA parks can be <\/span><b>either Greenfield or Brownfield.<\/b>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The seven approved <\/span><b>PM Mitra Parks are being set up in:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Tamil Nadu (Virudhunagar), Telangana, Gujarat, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh (Lucknow district) and Maharashtra.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Nodal Ministry:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Ministry of Textiles.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><b>PM MITRA Park Features<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Integrated Value Chain:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Each park brings spinning, garmenting, dyeing, and processing into a single zone, cutting transport time and costs.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>World-Class Infrastructure: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">PM MITRA will develop 50% area for pure Manufacturing Activity, 20% area for utilities, and 10% of area for commercial development.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>Public\u2013Private Partnership:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> PM MITRA park will be developed by a <\/span><b>Special Purpose Vehicle<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (SPV) which will be owned by the <\/span><b>State Government and the Government of India<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Mode.<\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Capital and Incentives<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Ministry of Textiles will provide financial assistance up to <\/span><b>Rs 800 crores per park<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for <\/span><b>Greenfield projects<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and up to <\/span><b>Rs 500 crores<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> per park for <\/span><b>Brownfield projects.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <\/span><b>State Governments will provide land<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and augmented utility infrastructure for the proposed mega textile parks.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Source: <\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/ddnews.gov.in\/en\/pm-modi-inaugurates-indias-first-pm-mitra-park-in-telanganas-warangal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>DD News<\/strong><\/span><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>PM MITRA Park is a mega textile hub that brings every step of textile production, like spinning, weaving, dyeing, printing, and garment-making, into one single place.
