text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It <\/span><b>extends connectivity from Bairabi on the Assam\u2013Mizoram border to Sairan<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">g, just <\/span><b>20 km from Aizawl (capital of Mizoram<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">), directly <\/span><b>linking the state capital with India\u2019s railway network for the first time.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With the new connection,<\/span><b> Aizawl becomes the fourth northeastern state capital linked to the national railway network after Guwahati, Agartala, and Itanagar.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Bairabi\u2013Sairang line stretches <\/span><b>51.38 km,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> running through some of the most challenging and hilly terrain in the Northeast.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The project includes 48 tunnels, 142 bridges (55 major and 87 minor), and multiple road overbridges and underbridges.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Notably,<\/span><b> Bridge No. 196 stands 104 meters tall- taller than Delhi\u2019s Qutub Minar-<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> making it the <\/span><b>highest bridge in the state <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and the <\/span><b>second-highest pier bridge in Indian Railways.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The total length of tunnels in this project is 12,853 meters.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The passenger trains can run at speeds of up to 100 kmph on the newly built rail line.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;
