{"id":6371,"date":"2024-07-29T05:15:57","date_gmt":"2024-07-28T23:45:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/?p=6371"},"modified":"2025-03-27T14:26:14","modified_gmt":"2025-03-27T08:56:14","slug":"nipun-bharat","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/nipun-bharat\/","title":{"rendered":"NIPUN Bharat Mission"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><strong>About NIPUN Bharat Mission:\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The National Initiative for Proficiency in Reading with Understanding and Numeracy<\/strong> (NIPUN Bharat) Bharat mission was launched by the <strong>Ministry of Education.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>The mission will focus on children of <strong>age group of 3 to 9 years<\/strong> including pre-school to Grade 3.<\/li>\n<li>A <strong>five-tier implementation<\/strong> mechanism will be set up at the National- State- District- Block- School level in all States and UTs, under the aegis of the <strong>centrally sponsored scheme<\/strong> of Samagra Shiksha.<\/li>\n<li><strong>The goals and objectives<\/strong> of the mission are required to be achieved by all Govt., Govt. Aided and Private Schools so that universal acquisition of <strong>Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) <\/strong>skills can be achieved by <strong>2026-27.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>It has been launched under the aegis of the centrally sponsored scheme of Samagra Shiksha, will focus on providing\n<ul>\n<li>Access and retaining children in foundational years of schooling; teacher capacity building; development of high quality and diversified Student and Teacher Resources\/Learning Materials; and tracking the progress of each child in achieving learning outcomes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>Q1: What is Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan?<\/h3>\n<p>It is an overarching programme for the school education sector extending from pre-school to class 12.
