Industry launched the Industrial Park Rating System (IPRS) 3.0 in New Delhi.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>About Industrial Park Rating System 3.0<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is developed by the <\/span><b>Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (DPIIT) with support from <\/span><b>the Asian Development Bank<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (ADB).<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It aims to further strengthen India\u2019s <\/span><b>industrial ecosystem and enhance the competitiveness <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">of industrial infrastructure.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Previous IPRS:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> It was started in 2018 and again IPRS 2.0 was launched in 2021.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><b>Features of Industrial Park Rating System 3.0<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It will help assess and benchmark <\/span><b>facilities, infrastructure, and competitiveness of industrial parks across the country.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The initiative will provide stakeholders with <\/span><b>reliable data,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> encourage best practices, and support the <\/span><b>creation of world-class infrastructure.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It introduced an expanded framework with new <\/span><b>parameters, including sustainability, green infrastructure, logistics connectivity<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, digitalization, skill linkages, and enhanced tenant feedback.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Under IPRS 3.0, industrial parks will be benchmarked and categorized as <\/span><b>Leaders, Challengers, and Aspirers <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">based on their performance across key indicators.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><b>Significance of Industrial Park Rating System 3.0<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It will provide <\/span><b>investors with transparent and credible information,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> foster healthy competition among States and Union Territories, and guide policymakers in designing targeted interventions.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For States and UTs, it offers an opportunity to <\/span><b>showcase best-performing parks,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> identify gaps for improvement, attract
