This reduces water use, toxic waste, and CO\u2082 emissions.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><b>Joseph Nguthiru<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (Kenya):\u00a0 Started <\/span><b>HyaPak company <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">converts the invasive <\/span><b>species hyacinth<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in <\/span><b>Lake Naivasha<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> into packaging bags <\/span><b>and biodegradable seedling wrappers<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><b>Noemi Florea<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (US):\u00a0 She has <\/span><b>founded Cycleau,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> a compact water reuse system, in consultation with dozens of marginalized communities.
