They could even be simply <strong>driven into an area and detonated.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>The explosive yield<\/strong> of tactical nuclear weapons can <strong>range from under one kiloton to about 100 kilotons<\/strong>, whereas strategic nuclear weapons can have a yield of up to one thousand kilotons.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Delivery systems<\/strong> for tactical nuclear weapons also tend to <strong>have shorter ranges,<\/strong> <strong>typically under 310 miles (500 kilometres<\/strong>), compared with strategic nuclear weapons, which are typically designed to cross continents.<\/li>\n<li>They are the <strong>least-regulated category of nuclear weapons<\/strong> covered <strong>in arms control agreements.\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Countries possessing TNWs:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Nine countries<\/strong> have tactical nuclear weapons, according to the Federation of American Scientists.<\/li>\n<li>They are <strong>Russia, the United States, China, France, the United Kingdom, Pakistan, India, Israel and North Korea.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Russia<\/strong> has a stockpile of an estimated <strong>2,000 tactical nuclear missiles.\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>The U<strong>.<\/strong>S. has an estimated <strong>200 tactical nuclear<\/strong> <strong>bombs<\/strong>, half of which are <strong>at bases in Europe.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>Q1)\u00a0What is a Nuclear Weapon?<\/h3>\n<p>A nuclear weapon is a device that uses a nuclear reaction to create an explosion.
