The aim of this principle is to give an opportunity to both the parties to defend themselves.<\/li>\n<li>The doctrine is the <strong>basic concept of the principle of natural justice.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>The following are the <strong>key components of this doctrine:<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Notice<\/strong>:\n<ul>\n<li>Before any action is taken, the <strong>affected party must be given a notice<\/strong> <strong>to show cause<\/strong> against the proposed action and seek his explanation.<\/li>\n<li>A notice must contain the <strong>time, place and date of hearing, jurisdiction<\/strong> under which the case is filed, the <strong>charges<\/strong>, and <strong>proposed action<\/strong> against the person.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Any <strong>order passed without giving notice<\/strong> is against the principles of natural justice and <strong>is void.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Hearing:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>The <strong>order passed<\/strong> by the authority <strong>without providing<\/strong> the reasonable <strong>opportunity of being heard <\/strong>to the person affected by it adversely <strong>will be invalid<\/strong> <strong>and must be set aside.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Evidence<\/strong>:\n<ul>\n<li>It is an important part which is to be <strong>brought<\/strong> properly <strong>before the Court in the presence of both the parties <\/strong>and a judicial or quasi judicial <strong>authority must have to act on the evidence produced<\/strong> as in the case .<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Cross-Examination:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Every person has the <strong>right to contest or object to the evidence<\/strong> presented by the other party.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Legal Representation:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Every person is not able to present his case assertively.
