{"id":68003,"date":"2025-10-11T12:43:25","date_gmt":"2025-10-11T07:13:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/?p=68003"},"modified":"2025-10-11T12:46:48","modified_gmt":"2025-10-11T07:16:48","slug":"spark-4-0-initiative","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/spark-4-0-initiative\/","title":{"rendered":"SPARK\u20134.0 Initiative"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><b>SPARK\u20134.0 Initiative Latest News<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Recently, the Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS), Ministry of Ayush, has announced SPARK\u20134.0 initiative.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>About SPARK\u20134.0 Initiative<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Studentship Program for Ayurveda Research Ken (SPARK) <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">4.0 is the flagship initiative of the <\/span><b>Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This initiative aims to <\/span><b>ignite scientific curiosity<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and research aptitude among <\/span><b>undergraduate Ayurveda students across India.<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><b>Features of SPARK\u20134.0 Initiative<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Under this program, <\/span><b>300 Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (BAMS) students from colleges recognized by the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM) will <\/span><b>receive a studentship of \u20b950,000<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (\u20b925,000 per month for two months).<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">SPARK enables undergraduates to undertake short-term, <\/span><b>independent research projects<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> guided by faculty mentors.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It offers <\/span><b>hands-on exposure to research methodology<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, experimental design, and data analysis \u2014 helping participants gain foundational experience in scientific investigation at an early academic stage.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Institutions<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> are encouraged to support selected students by providing research facilities and academic guidance during the two-month project period.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Each selected scholar will also <\/span><b>receive a certificate<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> upon successful completion and approval of their final research report.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Significance:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0 It will strengthen India\u2019s research capacity in traditional medicine and to integrate innovation with heritage.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Source:<\/b> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pib.gov.in\/PressReleasePage.aspx?PRID=2177235\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>PIB<\/strong><\/span><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>SPARK\u20134.0 Initiative is the flagship initiative of the Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences.
