text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is an <\/span><b>inlet of the Arabian Sea.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is located along the west coast of India, in the Jamnagar district of <\/span><b>Gujarat<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It <\/span><b>divides Kutch and the Kathiawar peninsula regions of Gujarat.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It stretches for 99 miles and is famous for the <\/span><b>coral reefs <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">surrounding the 32 islands.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A unique feature of this region is the <\/span><b>tidal range, which generates fast currents of about 2.5 m per second.\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The southern shore has numerous islands and inlets which harbor vast areas of mangroves and coral reefs with living corals.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <\/span><b>northern shore with numerous shoals and creeks<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> also sustains <\/span><b>large stretches of mangroves.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The western extremity of the Gulf consists of a <\/span><b>vast complex of marshland criss-crossed by innumerous creeks.\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;
