World announced a joint initiative \u2018We Rise Initiative.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>About We Rise Initiative<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <\/span><b>Women Entrepreneurs Reimagining Inclusive and Sustainable Enterprises<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (We Rise) initiative was launched by <\/span><b>NITI Aayog and DP World.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It was launched under the aegis of <\/span><b>WEP\u2019s Award to Reward (ATR) initiative.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Aim:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> It aims to <\/span><b>help women entrepreneurs<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in India to scale their <\/span><b>businesses globally<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> through trade facilitation, mentorship, and strategic partnerships.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As part of this effort, WEP and DP World have joined hands <\/span><b>to empower product centric women entrepreneurs.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is a unique <\/span><b>public-private collaboration<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> focused on expanding trade access and unlock opportunities for women businesses to grow exponentially.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><b>What is a Women Entrepreneurship Platform?<\/b><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It was <\/span><b>incubated in NITI Aayog in 2018<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> as an aggregator platform, transitioned into a public-private partnership in 2022.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It serves as a national<\/span><b> aggregator to strengthen India\u2019s women entrepreneurship<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> ecosystem and make women-led development a reality.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Function:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> WEP functions as an enabler, addressing <\/span><b>six key ecosystem needs<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u2014 access to finance, market linkages, training and skilling, mentoring and networking, compliance and legal assistance, and business development
