{"id":70205,"date":"2025-10-26T16:10:34","date_gmt":"2025-10-26T10:40:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/?p=70205"},"modified":"2025-10-27T16:27:34","modified_gmt":"2025-10-27T10:57:34","slug":"maha-medtech-mission","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/maha-medtech-mission\/","title":{"rendered":"MAHA MedTech Mission"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><b>MAHA MedTech Mission Latest News<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Recently, the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF), in collaboration with the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) and the Gates Foundation, has launched the Mission for Advancement in High-Impact Areas (MAHA)-Medical Technology.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>About MAHA MedTech Mission<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It aims to <\/span><b>accelerate innovation in India\u2019s medical technology sector<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, reduce reliance on high-cost imports, and promote equitable access to affordable and high-quality medical technologies.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The primary focus of the mission will be <\/span><b>supporting the development and commercialization<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> of high-quality, affordable, and <\/span><b>innovative medical technologies.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><b>Key Objectives of MAHA MedTech Mission<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Drive public health impact by supporting technologies <\/span><b>that address priority disease<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> areas and expand access to safe, high-quality care;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Ensure affordability and accessibility<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> by supporting solutions that reduce costs;
