Among them:<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Deakin University and University of Wollongong have already begun operations in GIFT City.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Italy\u2019s Istituto Europeo di Design, a renowned fashion school, will set up in Mumbai.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">From the United States, Illinois Tech will be the first to establish a campus in Mumbai, while globally, US universities lead with 84 overseas campuses, followed by UK institutions with 46.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><b>Courses and Offerings by UK Universities in India<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Most UK universities setting up campuses in India will offer:<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Three-year undergraduate (UG) courses and one-year master\u2019s (PG) programmes.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Popular disciplines include Business Management, Computer Science, Accounting and Finance, Economics, Data Science, and Artificial Intelligence (AI).<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As per UGC regulations, these universities <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">must ensure identical curriculum, academic quality, and assessment standards as their home campuses<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">They can hire faculty from both India and abroad.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><b>Campus Capacity and Expansion Plans<\/b><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>University of Bristol<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (Mumbai): To start with 250 students in the first year, growing to 2,500.
