{"id":71095,"date":"2026-03-15T11:26:28","date_gmt":"2026-03-15T05:56:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/?p=71095"},"modified":"2026-03-15T16:11:06","modified_gmt":"2026-03-15T10:41:06","slug":"samriddh-gram-phygital-services-pilot-project","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/samriddh-gram-phygital-services-pilot-project\/","title":{"rendered":"Samriddh Gram Phygital Services Pilot Project"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><b>Samriddh Gram Phygital Services Pilot Project Latest News<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Recently, the Union Minister of Communications inaugurated the Samriddhi Kendra at Umri village in Guna district, Madhya Pradesh\u00a0 under the Samriddh Gram Phygital Services Pilot Initiative.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>About Samriddh Gram Phygital Services Pilot <\/b><b>Project<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is <\/span><b>envisaged as a pioneering phygital<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (physical + digital) Services model integrating on-ground presence with robust digital infrastructure to empower rural citizens.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is aimed at <\/span><b>transforming rural India<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> through a seamless integration of <\/span><b>physical and digital services.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It leverages BharatNet connectivity to deliver essential services seamlessly and sustainably.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><b>Features of Samriddh Gram Phygital Services Pilot Project<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Under this initiative three villages have been identified namely<\/span><b>, Ari &amp; Umri<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in Madhya Pradesh, <\/span><b>Narakoduru<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in Andhra Pradesh, and <\/span><b>Chaurawala<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in Uttar Pradesh.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Each village will <\/span><b>host a Samriddhi Kendra<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> which will serve as an integrated digital service hub.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Samriddhi Kendras will deliver a <\/span><b>comprehensive suite of services<\/b>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><b>Education &amp; Skilling<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: Smart classrooms, AR\/VR-based learning, and digital skilling aligned with government schemes\/initiatives.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><b>Agriculture:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> IoT-based soil testing, drone support, and smart irrigation systems.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><b>Healthcare:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0 Teleconsultations, Health ATMs, and emergency care.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><b>e-Governance:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Assisted access to citizen services, documentation, and grievance redressal.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><b>E-Commerce:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Integration with ONDC and digital marketplaces for local entrepreneurship.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><b>Financial Inclusion:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Digital banking and payments<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><b>Connectivity Backbone:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Strengthened BharatNet FTTH with a Village Area Network and public Wi-Fi hotspots.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Implemented by: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Department of Telecommunications (DoT)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Source: <\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pib.gov.in\/PressReleasePage.aspx?PRID=2239448&amp;reg=3&amp;lang=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">PIB<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Samriddh Gram Phygital Services Pilot Initiative aims to empower rural citizens through a phygital (physical + digital) model combining on-ground services with strong digital infrastructure.
