T<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The temple cost about \u00a312 million to build.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">S<\/span><b>ince 2000, other BAPS temples have been built that are even bigger.\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Neasden Temple was <\/span><b>built and paid for entirely by the Hindu community.\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The whole project took five years, but the main temple building was finished in just two and a half years.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Building work started in August 1992.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The temple complex is made up of a few <\/span><b>important parts:<\/b>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"2\"><b>A mandir, <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">which is the main temple building. It is made from hand-carved Italian marble and Bulgarian limestone.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A <\/span><b>permanent exhibition called &#8220;Understanding <a href=\"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/differences-and-similarities-between-buddhism-and-hinduism\/\" target=\"_blank\">Hinduism<\/a>.&#8221;<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"2\">The<b style=\"font-size: inherit;\"> BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Haveli,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> which is a cultural centre.
