text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is a <\/span><b>new species of flowering plant.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It was discovered in the <\/span><b>evergreen forests of Arunachal Pradesh\u2019<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">s West Siang district.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It marks the <\/span><b>first-ever record <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">of the <\/span><b>genus Crassicaulis in India,<\/b> <b>extending its known range<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> by more than 1,200 kilometres westward<\/span><b> from China\u2019s Yunnan province.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It belongs to the Gesneriaceae family (commonly known for ornamental species like African violets).<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It grows up to 30 cm tall and thrives <\/span><b>along stream banks near small waterfalls <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">at about 800 metres elevation.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Its leaf base, <\/span><b>white flowers tinged with pink,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> capsule shape, greenish ovary, and calyx distinguish it from its <\/span><b>only known relative, Crassicaulis guiliangii, found in Yunnan.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;
