{"id":7419,"date":"2022-11-26T09:57:21","date_gmt":"2022-11-26T04:27:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/?p=7419"},"modified":"2025-03-28T20:36:34","modified_gmt":"2025-03-28T15:06:34","slug":"un-country-team-unct","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/un-country-team-unct\/","title":{"rendered":"UN Country Team (UNCT)"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><strong>About UN Country Team (UNCT):\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>The United Nations Country Team (UNCT) exists in 132 countries, covering all of the 162 countries\u00a0<strong>where there are United Nations programmes.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>The UNCT\u00a0<strong>includes all the UN entities working on sustainable development, emergency, recovery and transition<\/strong>\u00a0in programme countries.<\/li>\n<li>The UNCT is<strong>\u00a0led by the UN Resident Coordinator,<\/strong>\u00a0who is the representative of the UN Secretary-General in a given country.<\/li>\n<li>The UNCT\u00a0<strong>ensures interagency coordination and decision-making<\/strong>\u00a0at the country level.
