sharply raise demand for critical minerals, many of which the country imports entirely.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">India remains <\/span><b>100% import-dependent<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for cobalt, lithium, nickel, REEs and silicon \u2014 all vital for batteries, solar, semiconductors and advanced self-reliance unless India also builds the ability to convert raw minerals into <\/span><b>high-purity materials<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> needed for batteries, semiconductors, optics and
