{"id":7443,"date":"2022-11-26T03:13:03","date_gmt":"2022-11-25T21:43:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/?p=7443"},"modified":"2025-03-28T20:45:23","modified_gmt":"2025-03-28T15:15:23","slug":"constitution-day","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/constitution-day\/","title":{"rendered":"Constitution Day"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><strong>About Constitution Day:<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>India observes Constitution Day or Samvidhan Divas on November 26 every year in order to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India.<\/li>\n<li>On the occasion of the\u00a0<strong>125th birth anniversary of BR Ambedkar<\/strong>, the Union Cabinet decided to celebrate November 26 as Constitution Day.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>History of the Constitution Day<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>The Constituent Assembly adopted the present-day Constitution on November 26, 1949 but it was decided that it will come into effect after a gap of almost two months i.e. on January 26, 1950.
