{"id":78232,"date":"2026-08-09T13:02:02","date_gmt":"2026-08-09T07:32:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/?p=78232"},"modified":"2026-08-09T15:46:33","modified_gmt":"2026-08-09T10:16:33","slug":"centralised-public-grievance-redress-and-monitoring-system","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/centralised-public-grievance-redress-and-monitoring-system\/","title":{"rendered":"Centralised Public Grievance Redress and Monitoring System (CPGRAMS)"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><b>Centralised Public Grievance Redress and Monitoring System (CPGRAMS) Latest News<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Centralised Public Grievance Redress and Monitoring System (CPGRAM) over the last decade has emerged as one of the world&#8217;s largest digital public grievance redressal platforms.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>About Centralised Public Grievance Redress and Monitoring System (CPGRAMS)<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is the Government\u2019s <\/span><b>flagship digital grievance redressal platform.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It functions as a <\/span><b>comprehensive digital ecosystem<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> that combines technology, accountability, and citizen participation to ensure effective and accessible grievance redressal.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It was developed and monitored by the <\/span><b>Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances, and Pensions.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><b>Features of CPGRAM System<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is <\/span><b>available to citizens 24&#215;7<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, CPGRAMS provides a single portal connected to all Central Ministries, Departments, State Governments, and Union Territories.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Language Inclusivity:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> To make grievance redressal more accessible, CPGRAMS supports <\/span><b>submissions in 22 scheduled <a href=\"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/upsc-exam\/indian-languages\/\" target=\"_blank\">languages<\/a>, in<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> addition to English.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>One Nation\u2013One Portal:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Integration of State grievance portals and other Government platforms with CPGRAMS has created a unified and streamlined grievance redressal ecosystem across the country.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The status of the grievance filed in CPGRAMS can be tracked with the unique registration ID provided at the time of registration of the complainant.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Resolve within 21 Days:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0 The grievances received on the CPGRAMS shall be resolved promptly as soon as they are received but <\/span><b>within a maximum period of 21 days.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Appealing Facility:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> CPGRAMS also provides an appeal facility to the citizens if they are not satisfied with the resolution by the Grievance Officer.<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After closure of grievance, if the complainant is not satisfied with the resolution, he\/she can provide feedback.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If the rating is \u2018Poor\u2019 the option to file an appeal is enabled.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The status of the appeal can also be tracked by the petitioner with the grievance registration number.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Source:<\/b> <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pib.gov.in\/PressReleasePage.aspx?PRID=2296724&amp;reg=48&amp;lang=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">PIB<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Centralised Public Grievance Redress and Monitoring System is the Government\u2019s flagship digital grievance redressal platform.
