{"id":7827,"date":"2022-11-13T05:42:51","date_gmt":"2022-11-13T00:12:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/?p=7827"},"modified":"2025-03-28T23:08:03","modified_gmt":"2025-03-28T17:38:03","slug":"megalithic-burial-sites","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/megalithic-burial-sites\/","title":{"rendered":"Megalithic Burial Sites"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><strong>About Megalithic Burial Sites:<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Anthropomorphic sites<\/strong>\u00a0are those marked by a representation of human form above the megalithic burials.<\/li>\n<li>The most prominent one is the \u2018<strong>pillared dolmen\u2019<\/strong>\u00a0of the megalithic era, found at Mallayyagaripalle, nestling on a hillock between Chandragiri and Dornakambala, in Tirupati.<\/li>\n<li>The structure locally referred to as \u2018<strong>Pandava Gullu\u2019<\/strong>\u00a0or \u2018Pandavula Banda\u2019 in memory of the Pandavas, is estimated to be 2,500 years old.<\/li>\n<li>There is another endangered megalith monument in Palem village near Kallur, which resembles a bull\u2019s horn.
