{"id":79559,"date":"2025-12-25T13:19:15","date_gmt":"2025-12-25T07:49:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/?p=79559"},"modified":"2025-12-25T18:26:47","modified_gmt":"2025-12-25T12:56:47","slug":"k-4-missile","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/k-4-missile\/","title":{"rendered":"K-4 Missile"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><b>K-4 Missile Latest News<\/b><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">India tested an intermediate-range ballistic missile called K-4, which is designed to hit targets 3,500-km away, from the nuclear-powered submarine INS Arighaat in the Bay of Bengal recently.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>About K-4 Missile<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Kalam-4<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> or K-4 Missile, is a <\/span><b>nuclear-capable intermediate-range submarine-launched ballistic missile (SLBM) <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">designed mainly for <\/span><b>deployment on Arihant-class submarines.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Each Arihant-class submarine can carry four K-4 missiles.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">K-4 was indigenously <\/span><b>developed<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> by the <\/span><b>Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO).<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>K-4 Missile <\/b><b>Features<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The 12-metre-long missile weighing 17 tonnes has a<\/span><b> two-stage solid-fuel system.\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It has a <\/span><b>range <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">of around <\/span><b>3,500 km<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.
